Eligible fuels: Wood (uncertified) (certified) -> wood (certified), heat pump
Notable feature(s): Wood sheds, moisture meters for cord wood, furnace repair, and dry cord-wood vouchers may be available in addition to change-outs.
Incentive Amounts
Residents who qualify for the low-income home energy assistance program (LIHEAP) services may be eligible to change out their old wood heating appliance for a new certified woodstove or ductless heat pump at no cost. Residents and property owners who do not qualify for LIHEAP may be eligible for a $2,000 incentive toward a new certified woodstove or ductless heat pump. Regardless of income, residents may also qualify for a free woodshed if they do not have a way to keep firewood dry.
Program Duration
The program is ongoing until funds are depleted.

Requirements
Participants must be eligible for the federal low-income home energy assistance program services to qualify for full cost coverage. All residents may be eligible for the incentive program, regardless of income.
